  • Overview:Budo Accelerator, an educational nonprofit, has been pivotal in transforming lives through martial arts, focusing on leadership and life skills for high school and college students??. The proposed curriculum change aims to enhance flexibility for students, improve retention, and facilitate easier program replication across different regions.

  • Quarterly Events:
  • Frequency & Format: One half-day event every quarter.
  • Content:
  • High-profile guest speaker (online), facilitating broad participation across regions.
  • Leadership concept session led by dojo instructors, combining theory and practice, plus a student-led talk or activity.
  • Martial arts training session, including a student-led segment.
  • Student Involvement: The leading student speaker in each region will be selected through video journal submissions prior to the event.
